Meisterwette jetzt platzieren oder warten?

October 13, 2022 by

Wett‑Strategien in drei Schritten

Erstens: Setz dir ein klares Limit. Zweitens: Schau dir das Live‑Statistik‑Board an, bevor du deine Order abschickst. Drittens: Nutze Cash‑Out, sobald die Quote deinen Zielwert erreicht.

Live‑Analyse: Dein bester Freund

Jetzt handeln.

Bayer 04 Merchandising‑Erfolg und seine Auswirkung auf die Marken‑Wetten

October 13, 2022 by

Warum Bayer 04 jetzt Aufschlag gibt

Be Careful Swimming in Lakes and Rivers After Rain Storms

August 19, 2022 by Pool Guy

The rain coming down in Austin lately has been wonderful, but there can be dangers after these rains in the freshwater around the area.

Having fun on Lake Austin

As the waters rise around Austin, it’s tempting to jump in the water and bring dogs along, but take caution.

Oil from the roads from the past couple of dry months will be washed into the water, as well as debris, animal feces, and fertilizer.

Give it a few days to a week for things to settle before heading into Barton Creek, Lake Austin, Lake Travis, etc.

In the meantime, you can cool off safely in the Loungy Turtle pool in East Austin.

Covid Cases are Rising – Rent a Private Pool to Cool Down

July 20, 2022 by Pool Guy

You don’t need me to tell you it’s been super hot in Austin for months and it’s not letting up any time soon. We’re looking at triple-digit highs through summer and probably until around ACL.

We all need to cool down and area pools are great for that.

But wait, COVID cases are rising. Cases are five times higher than they were three months ago. So that makes some places good to avoid if you want to stay healthy.

Rising Covid Cases in Travis County

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking… if you’re swimming outside there isn’t really a risk, right?

But how about when you have to be indoors with groups of people in restrooms, entrances, etc. at pools in apartment complexes, gyms, neighborhoods, and hotels through services like ResortPass?

Keep your mind at ease by booking the Loungy Turtle pool through Swimply.

This retro, old-school curvy pool is ideal for your party, lounge day with friends, or a self-retreat.

Fully redone in 2016, the pool is four feet in the shallow end and eight feet in the deep end. Plus, there is a deck with shared areas, a Weber grill, an outdoor fridge, and lots of seats in and out of the sun.

Book by the hour for a low fee and split the cost with your crew. Dogs are welcome!

Toxic Algae Exposure in Austin Lakes Could Be Fatal to Your Dog

July 14, 2022 by Pool Guy

A dog died within an hour of swimming in “Barking Springs” (part of Barton Creek) this past weekend.

Dog at the pool

The dog’s cause of death is unknown, but toxic algae exposure is considered a likely cause.

This sort of tragedy happens all too often during Austin summers, and it’s important for dog owners to be aware of the risks of letting their pups swim in local lakes and streams.

Harmful algae may be present in any natural water body in Central Texas at any time, according to a report by KXAN. This can happen more often in hot temperatures and drought conditions.

It is more likely to be along shorelines and in pockets of warm, still water.

If you are looking for a place for your dog to cool off in water, you can book an Austin pool by the hour for sun and puppy fun.

What are You Doing for the 4th of July Weekend?

June 23, 2022 by Pool Guy

There are lots of 4th of July events happening in and around Austin and it’s going to be HOT. There are currently openings to cool off in the Loungy Turtle pool over the holiday weekend, so book your time now.

The two big events happening in Austin on the 4th of July are the Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks and Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic.

Austin’s largest Independence Day celebration on July 4th is at Auditorium Shores and the Long Center. The Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks includes patriotic music from the Austin Symphony and then a fireworks display over Town Lake. Get to the Long Center or South First Street Bridge early and leave chairs behind. Just a blanket is perfect and there are lots of vendors for food and drinks.

The first concert at Q2 Stadium (where Austin FC plays) will be Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic. Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic will feature Willie Nelson & Family, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Tyler Childers, Allison Russell, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Charley Crockett, Particle Kid, Steve Earle, and Asleep at the Wheel. The show begins at noon and runs ten hours plus fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.

I’d recommend rideshare to get to either event – you don’t want to try and drive. But before either of those, you’ll be happy if you have a pool to cool down in.

People, dogs, and cool vibes at the Loungy Turtle Pool

Reserve some pool time now before it’s all booked up.

Whatever you do on July 4th in Austin, leave the fireworks to the professionals. Fireworks are illegal within Austin city limits and with how dry it’s been, they are a major fire risk.

Cool Off in this East Austin Backyard Oasis

June 7, 2022 by Pool Guy

It’s hot today, it’s going to be hot tomorrow, and it will also be hot every day until probably September. Every day in the forecast for the next ten days will be sunny and 100 degrees or higher.

Night swimming at the Loungy Turtle pool

It may not be officially summer on the calendar, but it sure feels like it, so do what you can to stay cool.

Book the Loungy Turtle pool on Swimply by yourself or with friends and have a fun day in the water.

In addition to the pool, you get the use of a big backyard and deck to play games, grill, relax, and have an awesome time.

The pricing ranges from $40 to $50 an hour, depending on the day of the week, so if you gather some people together to pitch in, y’all can have a pool day for less than it costs to go to the movies.

You can rent the pool during the day or at night.

If you haven’t gone night swimming, it’s awesome and no sunscreen is needed. Don’t hold off too long – days are getting booked quickly.
